Privacy Policy. Introduction

This Privacy Policy provides information on how Tapfiliate B.V. (hereinafter “we/us/our”) concerns your personal and non-personal data if you visit our website, we collect data from you as you a customer of Tapfiliate B.V.

3.2. For customers of our service:

3.2.1 Which personal data do we process?
Tapfiliate collects your personal data when you create or update your account necessary to complete Tapfiliate’s online forms for a wide range of activities of Tapfiliate.
Tapfiliate processes information obtained from yourself.
Processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract or on the basis that the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of Tapfiliate.
These legitimate interests are that the processing of personal data is necessary for Tapfiliate to be able to identify you as a user on our platform.


The mandatory personal data Tapfiliate collects:

  • Nominative Information: Title, first name(s), surname(s): Your nominative details are needed to properly identify you, to communicate with you, and to provide you with the products and services you have requested.
    Full postal work and/or private address: The postal address is needed to correctly verify your identity (where other persons have the same or a similar name).
    E-mail address: Electronic communication is, for most purposes, Tapfiliate’s preferred method of communication because it is generally convenient, rapid, effective, environmentally friendly, and efficient. In order to be able to communicate with you directly electronically, Tapfiliate needs your e-mail address. You are, therefore, required to supply your e-mail address when you create your account on the Website, which enables you to access a variety of services online. Additionally, because we only permit a particular e-mail to be used once in our system, it reduces the possibility of duplicates. It also permits “Forgot Password” to be handled in an automated, secure way.
  • IP address: We use your IP address to resolve support cases, solve technical issues with our platform, and investigate fraud cases.
  • Cookies: The information about cookies you can find in section 3.1
  • In some cases, we ask you for additional information if it is necessary for the services provided by Tapfiliate. For example, Tapfiliate processes payment information provided by you if such information is necessary.

3.2.2 How do we use your personal data?
We use and process the personal data you have provided us with for the purposes described below.
– customer support, fraud detection, marketing and customer retention activities, implementation of new product functionality, billing;
– Used for KYC/application review (approval/disapproval) by customers (core feature), access to dashboard, fraud prevention;
– Used by customers to payout their affiliates (core feature);

4. Newsletters

With the following information, we will inform you of the contents of our newsletter and the procedure for the registration and dissemination of newsletters, and the evaluation of statistics thereof, as well as your right to object to the procedure. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to the receipt of the newsletter and the procedures described.
We send out newsletters, emails, and other electronic notifications with promotional information (hereinafter “Newsletter”) subject to the recipient’s consent or legal permission.
You may terminate the receipt of our newsletter at any time, which means you revoke your consent to receive it. You may withdraw your consent to receive our newsletter at any time by changing the notification settings in your account. In addition, you can find a link to unsubscribe from our newsletter at the bottom of each newsletter.

The processing of your personal data relies on the following legal bases:

Tapfiliate does not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.
Tapfiliate takes all technical and organizational security measures required to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorized disclosure, or other forms of misuse. Data is stored in a safe environment that is not open to public access. Your personal data may be encrypted before transmission in certain cases (e.g., processing your login data). This means that communication between your device and our servers will include recognized encryption measures if your browser supports doing so.
Our staff has been trained in privacy matters and responsibly handling personal data and information to which they have access.
Please be aware that should you contact us via email, the confidentiality of the information therein may not be ensured. Third persons may have access to the contents of emails.

For Tapfiliate to execute its business processes in a convenient and optimal way, it may be necessary for certain data to be processed by trusted third parties and reliable partners.

These third parties may:

  • Fulfill orders
  • Send emails
  • Manage communications (e.g., newsletters, security notifications, chat, etc.)
  • Host websites
  • Conduct other related activities on behalf of Tapfiliate.

If we share your personal information with a processor, we make sure the processor complies with the GDPR by signing processing agreements. Other third parties have no access to personal data.


Generic aggregated (non-personal) data
We may share generic aggregated data with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers. In such case the data will be fully anonymized.

While observing applicable privacy legislation, we will erase your data without any action required by you if retention of your data is no longer necessary for the purpose pursued or retention is no longer allowed for any legal reason. We may restrict processing instead of erasing your data where it is legally not allowed to erase (e.g., legal obligations to maintain your personal data).

We may modify this Privacy Policy and our data security provisions at any time, particularly if new laws and/or regulations need to be adopted or if we regard amendments as reasonable.
